Hello! I’m Addie Wuensch! I have been working in the arts for over 20 years in Wilmington, NC! Hosting art shows in my gallery Bottega, which now sold, hosting and organizing festivals and teaching special needs art classes. What began as a passion project organizing festivals has evolved into something more. At art haus we are proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. We are actively connecting the community through art festivals accessible to all people! Unite through the arts and music! We will also be hosting festivals with a focus on special needs artists and musicians. Thank you for your donation!

A more detailed view of what we are doing at Art Haus Community Art Festivals Nonprofit:

Art Haus will be spearheading different art festivals in Wilmington to enrich the community through various mixes of art genres! 

Our first festival will be Downtown Wilmington’s PORCHFEST Art and Music Walk in the Historic District and it will be on Saturday April 18,  2026 from 2-6pm. 

There will be 9 locations where musicians will be playing and artists will be live painting and selling their work on porches in the historic district downtown. For the fall fest, we will have 20 locations.  

Art and music enthusiasts are invited to come on the walk, with locations on the map detailing the artistic and musical offerings at each location to celebrate the arts as a community. 

We will be including over 60 artists in this event!

Our next Porchfest will be in the fall! 

Another program Art Haus will be offering is contemporary mixed media art lessons for people with special needs. I have over 15 years of experience working with people with disabilities and teaching them art! 

The third offering we are planning is to create a scholarship through UNCW and we will be starting with the option of 1000 a year, for five years and work towards an endowment -criteria being female students from New Hanover County with interest in contemporary studio art.

The 3,000 will be broken down like this:

$1000 going to pay the musicians 

$1000 going to maps printed, snacks and soft drinks at the locations. Chairs and folding tables. 

$1000 going to the organizers for the time spent to book, organize and market the event.
